Cool Britannia
Значительным явлением в культурной жизни Великобритании в 1990-е стал период Cool Britannia («Клёвая Британия»). Его начало (возможно, неслучайно) совпало с приходом к власти в стране лейбористов во главе с Тони Блэром. Период характеризуется подъёмом патриотизма, а также общего интереса к британской культуре, что отразилось, в частности, в музыке, моде, кино, а также в архитектуре города.
